11 Kids’ Books for Future Horse Girls

Ever since I became a mom, my daily reading has changed quite a bit. Sometimes we read the same book for days in a row, and when I’m lucky enough to have a toddler who wants variety, London and I read a handful of different books each day. I’m sharing a collection of books that are perfect for toddlers and young children. I hope you and your littles enjoy these books as much as we do.

Recently my friend Susan published Swirl: My Wild Island Pony, inspired by her many trips to see the pony swims and her love for all things Misty. We have it on our coffee table right now as part of this week’s book rotation.

Another series we adore is my friend Pamela’s Penelope and Macaroni series. London went through a phase where that was all we read for over a week (on repeat). She obsesses over the whimsical illustrations and points out all the beautiful details on each page. I’ve linked these books and more below for the future horse lover in your life.
