Celebrate warmer weather with a light and delicious Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail. This simple summer sipper has the refreshing taste of strawberry lemonade paired with vodka and bubbles.
During the winter I shared two amazing sparkling cocktail recipes – the Sparkling Blood Orange Winter Cocktail and the Sparkling Cranberry Lime Holiday Cocktail. They were both very popular and tasty, so I wanted to create a summer version. I’ll probably try making a couple more before the summer is over. Fresh fruit, sparkling water, and vodka are always on hand, so it’s easy to make variations of the cocktail.
The recipe is simple. Combine vodka, lemon flavored sparkling water, and strawberry lemonade. Measure, shake, pour, and garnish!
You don’t have to stick to just strawberry lemonade, try this with raspberry lemonade, blueberry lemonade, peach, watermelon or even your favorite regular lemonade. I have to confess that I added one drop of pink food coloring to my drinks – my lemonade was a light pink, the sparkling water and vodka diluted the color, making it less appealing. That my friends, is just a little blogging trick. If you want a vibrant pink cocktail, a little food coloring goes a long way.
- 2 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces strawberry lemonade
- 4 ounces lemon sparkling water
- Garnish with sliced lemons and a strawberry
- Combine ingredients into a shaker and mix well.
- Pour over ice in an individual glass and serve with garnishes.
You could also swap out vodka for tequila or rum too. In fact, I just might have to make the margarita version of these next.
Cheers! I hope you enjoy this light and fruity cocktail as much as I do! It’s going to be on rotation all summer long.
