A home office office should be a warm and inspiring place to work and create.
Lately I’ve been daydreaming about all sorts of home decor and decorating projects. It isn’t new news. I love decorating and creating a stylish home. When you work from home, you want to be surrounded by inspiration and an atmosphere that fuels creativity.
I created this mood board based around a few current obsessions – the Folkthread chair from Anthropologie I discovered at the Grove, the secretary desk and bookshelf from Target are on the love list and could fit into our new space. I added a day bed and other larger pieces because when Adam and I move again (sigh), I want my office to also double as the guest room. Currently we have a two bedroom apartment and the second bedroom is Adam’s studio/our guest room.
All it takes are some pops of texture from cowhide, cacti plants, and fuzzy pillows to round up the look.
