Get ready for the Kentucky Derby with a mint julep milkshake recipe.
It’s almost time for the Kentucky Derby! Bring on the floppy hats, bold printed dresses, bourbon, and mint juleps of course. If you enjoy girly cocktails like I do, bourbon isn’t your thing. Sure, I’ll enjoy a mint julep but I would rather be drinking this – a Mint Julep Milkshake 😉 Get the recipe from Beautiful Booze and drool with me over Natalie’s beautiful horse glasses too. The glasses were originally from Crate & Barrel but are no longer in stock.
There is something about beautiful bar accessories and glasses that I love. Maybe it’s because I’m picking up a new bar cart later today. Either way, Natalie’s recipe made me drool and start looking around for vintage horse glasses. After all, it’s only appropriate to drink a mint julep milkshake out of a horse themed glasse.
The mid-century enthusiast in me did a happy dance when I spotted these horse highball glasses. Pink, gold, black… all of my favorite colors meet.
While you won’t see any Arabian horses running for the roses, I couldn’t help but share these Arabian horse whiskey glasses.
These Cyril Gorainoff horse glasses would be beautiful for sipping on milkshakes or whatever you fancy. Be sure to search local thrift stores, and websites like Etsy and Chairish for even more vintage finds.
