Spicy mango jalapeño margaritas with a chipotle and sugar rim.
I’m always down for a good margarita. Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner so I thought I would whip up a tasty batch of margaritas you can try for your own Cinco de Mayo festivities. These mango jalapeño beer margaritas have a spicy kick. I added a chipotle sugar rim to give them a nice mix of smoky and sweet flavor at first sip.
These margaritas are a new favorite of mine. I love the combination of mango with the Corona Extra and the heat you get from a fresh jalapeño. They taste so good! My recipe will give you four generous sized drinks, keep the ingredients on hand blender on stand by to make more.
Last year I made these amazing Strawberry Beer Margaritas and it was my inspiration to try out a new recipe.
- 1 1/2 cup diced mango
- 12 oz frozen limeade concentrate
- 1 cup 7 UP
- 1 cup tequila
- 1 12 oz bottle Corona Extra
- 1 cup ice
- 3 – 4 large jalapeno slices
- *Lime slices and extra jalapeño slices for garnish
- Add mango, limeade, soda, tequila, Corona, ice, and jalapeños to a blender.
- Blend and pour into glasses immediately, garish with a slice of lime and jalapeño.
The only thing missing are the nachos and tacos. Be sure to check out my other amazing recipes to pair with these > Black Bean and Chipotle Quesadillas and Spicy Verde Chicken Enchiladas.
I’m also testing out turning these margaritas into popsicles. Who wants a margarita popsicle on a hot day?
