Corona Extra® is the Official Import Beer of the Kentucky Derby® for 2018 and 2019, which occurs over Cinco de Mayo weekend for the next two years. As a lover of horses and margaritas, I could not be more excited! I’m looking forward to watching the Big Race and enjoying some chorizo tacos. It’s the best of both worlds for me, this is going to be a fun weekend getting together with my fellow equestrians. I’ll wear a horse print dress, find an oversized floppy hat, and put on way too much makeup.
Naturally I already thought about the cocktail situation – should I have a margarita or a mint julep?
Let’s meet in the middle with Lime Mint Beer Margaritas, a twist on the classic Mint Julep. These margaritas are made with Corona Extra, tart limeade, sweet soda, tequila, and fresh mint I’m growing at home.
Corona Extra is an even-keeled cerveza with a touch of malt and fruity-honey aromas. It has a crisp, clean, well balanced flavor of hops and malt. Superior taste comes from superior ingredients – filtered water, hops, corn, yeast, and malted barley.Embrace your carefree spirit and live life to the fullest with Corona Extra.
