Guess what? Burt’s Bees just released their brand new lipstick line! Now you can enjoy 100% natural lipstick in 14 amazing shades, there is a perfect color for everyone. Burt’s Bees chapstick is always a purse staple of mine and I was excited to get my hands on their lipstick and try it out. Anything made by Burt’s Bees has to be good. I headed to Target and picked up three new shades; Brimming Berry, Nile Nude, and Iced Iris.
Nile Nude as you might have guessed is a nice nude shade with a slight peach tint that reminds me of a freshly picked peach. This is my new go to color for every occasion.
Brimming Berry is a nice bright, and dark red color it compliments my currently pale skin and will look great with a tan. This bold color looks nice with shades or purples and maroon.
Iced Iris makes my lips pop with a great playful pink shade and other girly girls like me can appreciate this.
Want to know one of the best things about this lipstick? It smells delicious. Seriously, I’ve never had a lipstick that I actually wanted to eat before… it must be all the natural ingredients that smell so good.
The lipstick feels great and doesn’t dry out your lips. I completely forgot I was wearing lipstick at the end of the day – my lips stayed hydrated and didn’t have that dried out and chapped feeling I usually get from other lipstick. Thank you natural formula of beeswax, raspberry seed oil, vitamin e, and moringa seed oil for conditioning and softening my lips! Moringa oil is full of essential fatty acids that help soften and condition the skin. The raspberry oil improves skin elasticity. It doesn’t take much for my lips to become dried out and chapped so I appreciate all of this. Step up your beauty game and take care of your lips at the same time.
The initial application of the lipstick feels creamy and isn’t heavy, you don’t need to apply it over and over throughout the day, Burt’s Bees lipstick stays with you for eight hours and is perfect for every day. As much as I love wearing lipstick, it isn’t something I do every day because my lips always need a break to recover, but not with Burt’s Bees. Finally a natural lipstick that works!
If you are feeling a little blah lately because of winter, treat yourself to a pick me up or two in the form of lipstick from Burt’s Bees. Nothing freshens up a face like a vibrant pop of color on your lips. Here I am wearing Brimming Berry, it goes perfect with my jacket and Mango approves.
Do you have any new beauty tips or resolutions for the new year? I think one of mine will be trying out more lipstick colors from Burt’s Bees.
Want to try out Burt’s Bees lipsticks for yourself? They are available at Target, head on over to and pick some up or order online. Just another reason to love shopping at Target ; )
