Ida Lou is the name of Ashley’s vintage airstream trailer which has been transformed into a mobile bridal and equestrian styling suite. The Bred side of the product line – Ida Lou Bride and Bred is the result of a little inspiration from a horse show. Ashley’s friend invited her to work at her booth, Commotion! Consignment Riding Apparel at a Saddlebred horse show in Asheville.
Ashley had been out of the horse world for several years and was going through a difficult time in her life. Being around horses again immediately sparked her passion them once again. Ashley decided to create unique jewelry and bags for horse lovers. Adding horse hair to the line was inspired by losing her beloved dog and selling her horse. The chic tassels compliment the jewelry and pay tribute to the special animals.
