Are your outdoor pillows tired, faded, or stained? Try this easy DIY.
Last summer I got a great floor pillow from Urban Outfitters. It had a fun and colorful tie dye print and was a great outdoor cushion for our space. Fast forward about eight months, the tie dye print was completely faded from the sun, plus there were a few stains on the pillow. Although things were looking sad appearance wise, but the fabric and cushion itself was still in wonderful shape.
I decided to revamp the pillow with Fabric Creations Fabric Ink and Block Printing Stamps. I had previously used them to make a custom pet bed for Mango several years ago. You can add a fun print or design to any piece of fabric with these inks and assortedÂ
This was the pillow before adding a print with the stamps.
The process itself is relatively simple. Apply a generous amount of fabric ink to your stamp and do a few test runs on paper to remove excess ink. Then stamp a pattern over your pillow. My outdoor pillow doesn’t have a removable case so I had stamp directly on the pillow.
