I’m back with another easy serape DIY project for you! Extra emphasis on the word easy. A couple weeks ago I shared my serape shower curtain and I’m continuing that trend with this loveseat. Get inspired to transform any plain couch into a vibrant piece of furniture with a serape blanket of your choice.
I fell in love with the shape of this Mid-Century love seat on Wayfair. But I wasn’t crazy about the dark gray seat. Wayfair had an amazing sale. This couch was deal that I couldn’t pass it up so I bought it anyways. While trying to style it with pillows and blankets, the idea to wrap my seat in serape occurred to me.
Mango and I searched for the perfect blanket. We found this bold throw with plenty of color. The Rose Bowl Flea is my go to source for all things serape.
I simply wrapped the blanket around the couch – no sewing required. I didn’t want to cut into the blanket so this worked out perfectly. Occasionally you have to tuck it back in but I don’t mind.
This loveseat is a beauty!
