An art gallery wall says a lot about your personality, learn how to create the best one for you!
I love art, it tells a story and is a great way to add personality to your home. If you spend a lot of time on Pinterest like I do, you’ll find art galleries in just about every home tour. The thing Pinterest doesn’t tell you, putting together a gallery wall can be a daunting task. But it doesn’t have to be!
Tomorrow I’ll show you my new gallery wall I created with artwork from Minted, plus there is a great giveaway! Minted is dedicated to working with independent artists. You’ll find lots of great pieces you may order in a variety of sizes plus you have the option of getting them framed too! Minted can truly be your one stop shop for art and framing. Check out these gallery collections I created with art from Minted.com and learn how to create the best art gallery wall.
Use the same photo: Make a powerful and simple gallery using the same photo in different shades of color. Use the same size and frame for an organized and polished look.
Above, Shop: A Lonely Horse, available in four colors.
Go for black and white. Black and white is timeless and classy. These black and white horse prints all have a snowy theme and look great in either a black or white frame. I would use the same sized frames to achieve this look. If you couldn’t already tell, all of these prints are by the same artist, Leslie Le Coq. Using the same artist is another great way to create a cohesive collection.
Shop: Snow Spirit, Frost Bite, Snowstorm, Free To Be, A Shadow In A Storm, End Of The Storm.
Try a mismatch. Mismatched frames, prints and sizes look great as long they have at least one common factor. This collection does not have an apparent theme but they do share the same colors to tie them together.
Shop: Texas Map, Horses At Dusk, Blue Cactus, All Is Quiet, Bijoux, Reach, Deer Flirtation.
Mix animals and landscapes together. This collection features lots of horns and rustic landscape shots to match the frames. Your frames have a huge impact on the art you pick so be sure to choose wisely.
Shop: Time Tells, Montana Pasture, And In The Morning, Staredown, Living Remnants of the Not-So-Distant Past, Dark Fog, Modern Rural, Cattle Drive.
Use places and spaces. Collect prints from a favorite city, state or country and display pieces from a variety of regions.
Shop: C’est La Vie In Cali, Venice Beach, Historic LA, City of Angels, Gold Palm Tree, Spray.
Be sure to check out my art gallery wall and a giveaway from Minted!
