Well I finally broke down & took the “big girl” camera plunge… Gasp said my wallet & credit card but this is going to be a very useful purchase. I’ve been taking photos with a $50.00 camera for the past few years & I had been talking about getting an upgrade for a while. I purchased a Canon T3i yesterday.
I’ve barely made it through the manual yet but I did walk around a little this morning with Mango & my sister’s dog, Cody & took a few shots. I’m excited to really learn how to use this, no I don’t want to be a pro photographer but I want to have been quality photos on the blog.
Cody, the most carefree dog ever.
I decided to stick with landscapes & dogs since the horses happen to be muddy messes right now. Oh & then Mango jumped into a mud puddle but I didn’t feel like capturing that moment.
Playing with the camera settings here…
Is that the Easter bunny, marshmallow fluff? Nope just Mango.

Your photos look amazing. I so need to take the plunge and buy a great camera. How did you decide which camera to purchase? I’m kind of clueless when it comes to things like that. I don’t even know what to look for in a new camera.

It was definitely a tough call Tracy. I first got top reccomendations from friends in the Nikon & Canon departments… then from there I picked a camera that had the most votes from friends & other bloggers ect. I thought about this purchase for months before acting on it!
