Now that you’ve had your wine lesson, lets make some sangria! I picked the Crios Malbec since it’s flavors were described as lush and with a hint of spice. I knew it would be great to add cinnamon brown sugar to it. Make sure you use a good quality cinnamon, I prefer to use Vietnamese cinnamon because it’s such a strong and wonderful cinnamon.
Autumn Apple Sangria
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Crios Malbec
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 Red Delicious apple, chopped
- 1/2 Gala apple, chopped
- 1/2 Granny Smith apple, chopped
- 3 slices of orange
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
Instructions
- Combine Crios Malbec, orange juice, chopped apples, orange slices, cinnamon, and sugars in a large bowl or pitcher.
- Mix well.
- Refrigerate covered for at least 3 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
Enjoy your sangria! The flavor sweet apples and cinnamon go perfectly with the Malbec.
