Back in February, Marisa from Apartment Therapy came over to photograph our apartment. At the time, I had no idea we would be moving in April so the timing was perfect. I am now forever able to look back on this space and remember all the fun we had there. You can get all the details on my Silver Lake, Los Angeles apartment on their site – read A “Western Modern Glam” Apartment in L.A.
I decided to share a few favorite photos courtesy of Marisa here. There are more on AT so be sure to check those out.
One thing I miss about our old apartment was all of the closet space in the hallway.
I also miss my rental friendly DIY tape wall. I might end up doing a similar design at the new house.
I had cabinet and counter space for days with this kitchen. White is wonderful, but always requires lots of cleaning.
Our living room had a nice open floor plan. My office and desk was in the living room though. That’s part of the small space challenge.
My Wellesley Equestrian custom brushes.
My favorite desk from Target hides all of my messes when company came over.
Lovely leopard cowboy boots by Broken T.
Small space means not a lot of room for cowboy boots. Luckily I have no problem decorating with them. This is my Tecovas boot collection.
Our bedroom was very spacious. The tile floors were not my favorite but they kept things cool in the summer.
This was the husbands work space when he was home.
