Social media is always evolving and right now the focus in on Instagram!
Everyone has a different definition of what success is when it comes to Instagram. Whether you want 500, 5k, or 500k, the path you take to get there is similar. You may be using Instagram for business or in creating your personal brand. Whatever the purpose is, we always wanted our followers to grow in number. I’ve always struggled with my own Instagram growth and I even considered not publishing this because I don’t have hundreds of thousands of followers. But I do understand how Instagram works.

5 Ways to Grow Your Instagram Account
1. Post Consistently – In order to see Instagram growth, you must post at least five times a week. And I’m not talking about posting 5 photos in a row on the same day. Try posting Monday – Friday or Monday – Thursday and then Sunday. Generally speaking Saturdays are slower days on Instagram so this is good day to skip. Followers are pretty busy enjoying their weekend and I notice a lot more users are on Sunday evening logging in to see what they missed. By posting consistently, you’ll receive more likes on your photos, you’ll be seen more, and as a result, you will get more followers.
2. Take Beautiful Photos – This should be a no brainer, but it’s not. I see horrible photos posted on Instagram all the time. If you’re a celebrity those bad photos can be overlooked. But if you are a regular person like myself, you need to give followers a reason to want to stick around. Are they trying to see more photos of your beautiful home? Your life on the lake? Hiking adventures? Whatever it is that you are trying to capture, do a good job with it!
3. Engage and Make Friends – Make friends with other Instagrammers! Leave comments on their images and they are likely to return the favor. Comments are more valuable than likes so be sure to spread the love. I’m 10x more likely to check out an account that leaves a nice comment verses an individual like.
4. Share Your Instagram Account – Share your Instagram account on your Facebook page, Twitter, blog, Pinterest account, etc. It’s not enough to just be active on Instagram, you need to actively be promoting elsewhere.
5. Enlist a Specialist – If you are still feeling like your account is not growing, call in the big guns for extra help! Social Network Elite is an Instagram growth service guaranteed to help increase your following and other objectives. Sometimes a service like this is just what you need to help get your engagement up and numbers rolling.
